Dear Friends!
I hope you are doing well
I hope we can join our resources and this email thread could be a source of practical information in case someone need it.
Please contribute if you wish!
Here is my five cents:
1. If you have concerning symptoms and don't have a medical provide,r call AZ information line 1-844-542-8201 or visit the Arizona Department of Health services website https://www.azdhs.gov/preparedness/epidemiology-disease-control/infectious-disease-epidemiology/index.php#novel-coronavirus-home
2. Grocery shopping
If you can't or don't want to go out, you can use Instacart https://www.instacart.com/ All the major Prescott stores are in that network, including Costco, NG, Safeway, Sprouts, etc.
You will need to make an account (easy), place an online order and provide payment - somebody will shop for you and deliver the order according to your delivery instructions.
It's about 20% more expensive than if you shop yourself, but may be the only option for some in certain circumstances and definitely the one that can provide fresh produce delivery.
You can communicate with your shopper via the phone/text and don't need to meet in person.
3. Costco established special days/hours for senior shoppers - open at 8:00 am-9:00 am for members that are 60 and olderon Tuesday and Thursday. You will be asked to present an ID before entry. More info here https://www.signalsaz.com/articles/prescott-area-costco-and-your-commonly-asked-questions/
For those who shop Costco on-line - many items are currently out of stock for delivery. However, check their website daily as some items "appear" once in awhile. This option is good for non-perishable items only.
4. Based on the info available so far, Covid-19 was detectable in aerosols for up to three hours, up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel.

So choose your way to deal with the grocery items before they end up in your fridge/pantry. Soap and water are still claimed to be the best solution. If you have a place to leave non-pershable items for a couple of days (garage, separate storage), please do it.
5. If you are a small business owner who may struggle during this time you can think about creating an option wherein your clients/customers can purchase a gift card for your service. This way you would have the money now and they can redeem the card later.
If you can afford to help local businesses by purchasing such gift cards, they will truly appreciate it.
6. If you are on Facebook, you may visit Prescott Arizona page to find plenty of updates/advice re the current situation in town.
7. I think it's very important to stay connected, balanced and support each other thru these unusual times. There are some options currently present here in Prescott:
a. Once a week Zoom meetings - "Prayer and Chant for All Beings" on Wednesday at 9:30am and again at 6:30 pm
b. I offer a "Somatic Hour" every other week to find a balance thru body awareness practice.
8. Finally, how about "Virtual Potluck" once a month? Anybody interested in "eating together" virtually? :)
We could share recepies of our dishes prior to the starting time and then just eat and chat, enjoing each others company! Let me know what do you think. Contact me here
May all beings be well & healthy!
Love,
Natalia
